A day in the bus after five in KK(Kota Kinabalu)
Commuters on a bus go thru a light traffic snarl around KK after five pm. A ten kilometre ride ranges 30 minutes to an hour to finish on a 30 seater bus. Some may call it a minibus but in we have even have minier buses (10 seater vans)that cuts in and out of the traffic like nobody's business. Most of the little buses are rundown machines rented to foreigners who do not give a hoot for their upkeep;their local owners too are not bothered as long the pennies keep rolling in. The foreigners add colour to the culture but do not fret the situation here as bad the places they come from like the Philipines and Indonesia.Malaysia in general and Sabah in particular is the most peaceful place in South east Asia
